Happy Thursday, everyone! And welcome to a new feature on Buried Under Romance and Love Saves the World.
What is Throwback Thursday?
Traditionally, Throwback Thursday celebrates nostalgia, asking participants to post a personal photo or an image from their past -- usually from 5 to 10 years ago. There are a lot of book blogs that also do a book-related Throwback Thursday.
The Historical Romance Edition:
Since Mary of Buried Under Romance and I are unapologetic lovers of historical romances, we've decided to focus on our beloved genre.
Here are our rules:
1. It must be posted on a Thursday.
2. It must be a historical romance novel published before October 3, 2008.
To Kiss a Thief by Kate Moore, published 1992
Blurb:
Disappointed by her first London Season, Margaret Somerley takes refuge at the Earl of Haddon's country estate. In the library one evening, she comes upon a dashing thief as he steals a cache of secret government papers ... and he brazenly abducts Margaret as well. Soon the shy miss who had attracted no beau must play mistress to a devilish rogue whose naughty blue eyes thoroughly disturb her. But she has yet to guess her handsome abductor's true purpose, his real identity ... or that she will soon be longing for his wicked embrace.
I really, really loved Kate Moore's Sons of Sins Trilogy and wanted to feature her for TBT:HR -- To Kiss a Thief is her debut novel and was originally published in 1992. Her last published historical romance was in 2012, Blackstone's Bride, and she recently ventured into contemporary romance, publishing a novella in the anthology, Ring of Truth

I've heard fabulous things about the Sons of Sin trilogy though I haven't heard of this book before. I love romances with thief characters so I will definitely add this to my wishlist. Thanks for sharing!

I'm not sure if I ever read a book by Kate Moore....I'll have to dig around in my pile of books to do a double check.
